Fiona Milne, Physiotherapist

A Canadian physiotherapy graduate, of the University of Toronto,1994.
Following a couple of years of hospital practice in Canada, Fiona Milne adventured to Australia for a working holiday! Upon returning to Canada she turned her passion to rowing. From 1998-2004 Fiona represented Canada in rowing at World Cups, World Championships and two Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.
Throughout her competitive rowing career, Fiona continued in private practice in Canada and at Kooyong Physiotherapy when in Australia. She established “Peak Performance Physiotherapy” in 2001 specialising in rowing injury management and prevention which includes musculoskeletal screening, pilates classes, lecturing and clinics for school rowing programs, and rowing camps for masters athletes.
Fiona has travelled internationally with the Australian Mountain Biking team, Australian U23 Rowing team and domestically with State and School rowing programs.
A mother of three, Fiona joined with Ann, Robin and Mel from Kooyong Physiotherapy to establish Spring Physio Gym in 2011.
Fiona combines her passion for rowing and sports injury management with pilates, and strength and conditioning training. She is currently enjoying specialist biomechanical analyses of movement and sport using an innovative new World First wireless movement sensor unit called DORSA VI.
