Kate Cowlishaw, Physiotherapist
Kate has been a clinical pilates physiotherapist for 11 years, and for 7 of those years was the head of the pilates team at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre.
Kate specialises in the assessment and diagnoses of lower back, pelvic and hip pain, with experience in postural neck and upper back ache. Hands on physio can be provided if required, before developing a specific pilates rehabilitation regimen. She is competent in teaching pilates within a sporting context, from recreational to elite athletes in sports including AFL, track and field, rowing, and tennis.
A mother of two and previous teacher of pre and postnatal pilates, Kate is available to treat common prenatal and postnatal musculoskeletal events.
Kate is available for physiotherapy, Tai Chi Classes, individual and group pilates.
For relaxation away from work, Kate enjoys swimming, tennis, Tai Chi and yoga.
